Eligibility

Arizona Tuition Organization, AZTO, partners with several private participating schools to provide tuition assistance to students. Please see a list of AZTO’s participating schools.

Students must be attending Kindergarten thru 12th grades at an approved participating school to receive tuition awards from AZTO. Charter schools are not eligible to receive tuition tax credit funding.

Preschool tuition does not qualify for tuition grants through this tax credit program. However, a preschool student entering kindergarten the following Fall can still apply to AZTO. A donor can still recommend the preschool student for a tuition award up to one year prior the student’s attendance in kindergarten. Tuition awards will not be issued until the student has been verified as enrolling for the Fall semester of kindergarten. The awarded tuition grant will then be issued prior to the Fall semester, pending board approval. Funds are not held beyond one year in a child’s name.
